Volunteering
Volunteers are a valuable and vital part of what we do at Spectrum D. Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the community, develop lots of new skills and to meet new people. Our volunteers provide support for our staff, but they also assist with running activities and programmes and in doing so develop a range of skills. Interested in finding out more?

What types of volunteer opportunities available at SpectrumD?

Reception/administration

Assisting people with arts and crafts;

Kitchen assistance for activity programme;

Child care/youth;

Assisting with recreational activities such as board games, cards, music, social outings;

Outdoor work such as gardening;

Assisting in our cafe;

Driving people to appointments, shopping or activities

Maintaining the Time Bank

Skill Sharing/Teaching

Volunteering in any number of roles and skills to the Milestone Cafe Outlet a project providing services for residents of Milestone House, run in partnership with Derby Homes and Derby City Council.
